The PENN® Pursuit® V Inshore Spinning Combo is a versatile and affordable setup designed for the serious inshore angler. This combo pairs a high-performance rod with a durable, saltwater-ready spinning reel, offering an exceptional value for money.

The rod is built on a lightweight and responsive carbon blank with an extra-fast action. This design is especially suited for active lure fishing styles, such as working long jerks, stickbaits, and softbaits. The sensitive tip section allows for precise lure control and the ability to detect subtle takes, while the powerful backbone provides the leverage needed for long-distance casting and a strong, positive hookset. The rod’s power reserve ensures you have the strength to confidently fight and land big fish. The saltwater-proof K-type guides are an excellent feature, preventing line from tangling and minimizing casting knots. The handles are made from high-density EVA for a comfortable and secure grip, even when wet.

The included PENN® Pursuit® V spinning reel features a lightweight and corrosion-resistant graphite body, making it durable in saltwater environments. The 4+1 sealed stainless steel ball bearing system provides smooth retrieves, and the Instant Anti-Reverse eliminates rotor back play for solid hooksets. The reel is equipped with the powerful HT-100™ carbon fiber drag washers, which deliver a smooth, reliable drag system to handle hard-fighting fish.
