By utilizing a unique separate handle design, Shimano has achieved an incredibly compact transport length. Even at its full 2.40m length, this rod collapses down to a size that fits easily into a backpack or carry-on luggage. Despite its 10-piece telescopic construction, the STC AX features a moderate-fast action that rivals the feel and sensitivity of traditional 2-piece spinning rods.

Advanced Construction & Performance

Built using Full Carbon + Nanosheet technology, the blank is both remarkably lightweight and highly responsive. This 2.40m model is the “all-rounder” of the range; it provides enough power to cast medium-sized lures in larger lakes or coastal waters, yet maintains the finesse required for precision accuracy.
