At Gerry’s Fishing, we often point anglers toward the 3313BN when they are hunting “hard-mouthed” predators. The combination of a strong gauge wire and a short shank creates a massive amount of leverage; because the distance between the eye and the bend is short, it is much harder for a fish to straighten the hook during a brutal fight. Made in Japan, these hooks feature a “reversed” (offset) point that ensures the hook “twists” into place the moment the line tightens.
