Gerry’s Pro Tip

Since the TS200 has a casting range peaking at 160g, we find its “sweet spot” is right around a 4oz (112g) lead. Using a 4oz sinker allows the solid carbon tip to stay “loaded” against the tide without pulling the lead out of the sand, providing the perfect tension for bite registration. If you’re fishing in very clear water, try using a long 15lb fluorocarbon snood; the softness of the TS200 tip will let the fish turn with the bait without feeling any suspicious resistance
