It is an essential component of a two-piece waterproof suit, designed to be worn with the Vass Team Vass 220 Jacket or Smock.

Design and Construction

Vass-Tex 220 Material: This bib and brace is constructed from the advanced Vass-Tex 220 material. This is a lightweight, flexible, and extremely quick-drying fabric. Its waterproof and windproof properties are supplemented by RDT (Rapid Dissipate Technology), a reverse layer that helps to wick away internal body moisture for enhanced comfort. The fixed waterproof coating on the material means it does not require reproofing. The outer surface is designed to shed water, preventing it from becoming heavy and waterlogged during prolonged periods of rain.
Eco-Friendly: The Vass-Tex 220 material is a more environmentally conscious choice because it does not use a PTFE chemical repellent finish, which can leak harmful chemicals into the environment.
Quad Welded Seams: The seams are “quad welded” to ensure maximum strength, waterproofness, and reliability, preventing any water ingress at the joins.
Metal-Free: The garment is designed to be “metal-free,” which is particularly useful for anglers in saltwater environments, as it prevents rust and corrosion.

Reinforced Knees: A key feature is the double-reinforced knees. These are often made with a tougher, more durable material like Vass-Tex 400 Carbon to provide extra wear resistance in a high-stress area.
