Durable Construction: The reel is built on a rigid, one-piece aluminum frame. This provides a solid and reliable platform that prevents flex under heavy loads. The side plates are made from carbon, which helps to keep the overall weight down without compromising on strength.
Bearing System: It features a high-end 10+1 sealed stainless steel ball bearing system. This large number of bearings contributes to the reel’s exceptionally smooth operation, both on the retrieve and during the cast.
Braking System: The reel is equipped with an Internal Centrifugal Brake (CBS6) with six shoes. This system provides a high level of control over the spool, helping to prevent backlashes and allowing the angler to fine-tune the cast for different lure weights and wind conditions.
Drag System: The drag system is a multi-stack carbon drag, which provides a smooth, powerful, and consistent drag force. It also includes a “Drag Clicker” feature, which produces an audible clicking sound when line is being pulled from the reel, a useful indicator during a fight.
