The beauty of the MaxRap Walk’N Roll lies in its versatility. You can change your entire presentation without ever changing your lure:

The Steady “Roll & Spit”: On a simple steady retrieve, the lure displays a side-to-side rolling action. Each time the slightly cupped face digs into the water, it kicks up a “spit” of spray, mimicking a baitfish casually cruising the surface.
The “Atlantic Walk”: Use a rhythmic twitch-and-pause motion to create a classic walk-the-dog zigzag. Because it’s weighted for stability, this action remains consistent even when the sea is “lumpy” and choppy.
The “Panic Skitter”: When Bass are in a feeding frenzy, crank the lure in fast. It will skitter and skip across the surface like a panicked Garfish or Mullet trying to escape a predator—a high-speed trigger for a reaction strike.
The “Head-Down Bob”: If fish are following but shy, stop the lure. With your rod tip down, give it short, sharp twitches to make the head bob in place. This “dying” action often convinces a wary Bass to finally commit.
