HAGANE Gear: The main drive gear is produced by Shimano’s cold-forging technology, giving it immense strength and durability. This process avoids the need for cutting work, resulting in a gear that maintains long-lasting smoothness and is highly resistant to wear under heavy loads.
X-Ship Technology: This system supports the pinion gear with bearings on both ends, maintaining perfect alignment with the drive gear. This increased support eliminates friction between the spool shaft and gear, resulting in greater power transmission efficiency, increased cranking power, and enhanced smoothness, particularly under heavy pressure.
Cross Carbon Drag: The drag system utilizes Cross Carbon material, providing a wide range of drag settings along with exceptional smoothness and thermal stability. It is also designed to be Waterproof, ensuring consistent performance against the hard runs of large saltwater fish.
Propulsion Line Management System: The spool lip is designed with a special angled shape (AR-C Spool) that allows the line to leave the spool in smaller coils with less friction. This results in significantly longer casting distances while minimizing wind knots and backlashes.
S A-RB Bearings: Shielded Anti-Rust Bearings are shielded on both sides to prevent salt or debris intrusion, maintaining smooth performance and extending the life of the bearings in a corrosive saltwater environment.
