Pro Tip: When pouring your leads, always pre-heat the mould slightly before the first pour of the session. A cold mould can cause the lead to solidify too quickly, leading to “frosting” or incomplete weights. For the best finish, ensure your lead is molten but not glowing red, and use a steady, continuous pour into the mould. Safety first: always work in a well-ventilated area and wear eye protection and gloves!
