Gerry’s Pro Tip: When setting up any telescopic sea rod, always extend it section by section starting from the top tip down to the butt. As you pull each section out, give it a firm, gentle twist to lock the joint into place. Make sure all line guides are aligned in a straight row down the blank before threading your line. When finished for the day, rinse the joints with fresh tap water to prevent sea salt and sand from scratching or jamming the telescopic sections.
