This is a long-waited rod, due to the popular MK1 Anyfish rods these MK2 range are as we expected brilliant and have been tested by Gerry’s staff extensively. Slim lightweight and as with all Anyfish rods great to use and fish with as they all have great tips for excellent bite registration. This rod will cast 4-7oz 125-200gms and in the right hands is capable of putting a lead a long way. Its quick action loads easily and the tip will cope with fast tides and not bounce around in the wind and waves.
2 equal section allows for easier transport, and the finish is really cool with gloss black whippings enhanced by the red metallic edging that blends perfectly with the rod decals. It will cope with both off the ground or pendulum and high or low reel as it comes with a reducer and a movable fuji reel seat. Just position the reel where you want it screw tight that’s where it stays. Fuji Alcontie rings that are mono or braid friendly, we expect to sell lots of these rods especially to the more serious angler who wants a versatile fishing rod.
