Shimano Tyrnos A 50lb Stand Up Rod

The slim diameter of the new Tyrnos A Stand-up delivers quite remarkable power, aided by Shimano Twist-Control which reduces blank twist dramatically which in turn produces a stronger blank with more feel during the fight. The rod is fitted with full Pac Bay roller guides and a heavy duty ALPS Aluminium reel seat to ensure a high build quality completely through the rod. The rods intended design was for the Mediterranean catching smaller Tuna and other game species however this 50lb stand up rod is used around the UK for our larger species and is commonly used on charter boat’s targeting large common Skate as well as Porbeagle and Mako sharks.
