The mid-priced Yasei AX Perch Carolina & Texas Rig Casting is specifically designed for perch fishing using American style bass set-ups like Carolina and Texas rigs. The slim lightweight blank has a fast action to maximise casting distance and a very sensitive solid tip to enhance bite detection and cushion lightening fast hook-sets.

The Yasei AX Perch Carolina & Texas Rig rod comes in two 2.30m length options, for excellent casting performance.
The Casting rod will cover 7-20g set-ups. To balance the rod perfectly, combine it with a Shimano BFS (Bait Finesse System) baitcasting reel, or 70 size MGL alternatives.
The Spinning rod will lighter cover 4-14g set-ups. To balance the rod perfectly, combine it with a Shimano 2000 or 2500 sized spinning reel.
In use the fast action maximises lightweight casting distances, whilst the sensitive solid tip enhances the most gentle of bites, giving you every chance of hitting the most delicate takes, especially in winter when the fish are moving slower.
The superb sensitivity and speed of the Yasei AX Perch Carolina & Texas Rig moels comes from the High Modulus Full Carbon blank, built using Hi-Power X technology and Nano Alloy. This reduces blank twist when casting and playing fish, and enhances sensitivity from the tip to the hand.
To further increase finesse and overall performance, the rods are fitted with the latest design Fuji Alconite K-type guides which are lightweight and suitable for the fine diameter braids used for perch.
