The shorter 1.95m Finesse version has a casting weight of 3-12g making it perfect for smaller, lighter lures and when fishing tight to features. The longer 2.25m Regular version has a casting weight of 7-18g. This is a great all round rod for longer casts and will also cover most popular jig head/shad combinations suitable for perch. The superb sensitivity and playing action of the Yasei AX Perch Versatile comes from the High Modulus Full Carbon blank, built using Hi-Power X technology and Nano Alloy. This reduces blank twist when casting and playing fish, producing more accuracy when fishing tight to features and better control when fighting larger than expected fish or bonus zander and pike.
To further increase sensitivity and overall performance, the rods are fitted with the latest design Fuji Alconite K-type guides which are lightweight and suitable for the fine diameter braids used for perch.
