Tronix Casting Floats These weighted floats are a great way of targetting fish which are feeding on, or just below, the surface. They have a central wire and a small swivel mounted at the base. The plastic 'sight bob' can be removed if wished and also replaced by a starlight for night fishing. They can be used in a number of ways. One popular method for bass and garfish is to attach a trace and bait the hook with a mackerel strip or sandeel and just cast it out as normal.
