Akios Rapport RTX360 Premium Sea Fishing Combo

Welcome to Gerry’s Fishing! Meet the all-rounder of the range: the Akios Rapport RTX360 Premium Sea Fishing Combo. This 12ft outfit is ready to fish straight from the box, with a matching Rapport fixed spool reel pre-loaded with 20lb premium gunsmoke monofilament and a padded Akios rod bag to carry it all. It is a brilliant way to start sea fishing with quality equipment from day one.

At 12ft (3.60m) with a 2-6oz casting rating, the RTX360 strikes a great balance between casting distance, control and ease of handling. It gives you more reach than the shorter 10ft model, so you can fish a wider selection of leads and baited rigs, yet it remains approachable for newcomers and occasional anglers. The carbon-effect blank with blue detailing, quality Fuji components and comfortable EVA rear grip give it a premium finish that belies its value.

Examples of Where to Use

Sandy and Shingle Beaches: The extra length of the 12ft blank helps you reach the gullies and features beyond the breakers when fishing baited rigs.
Piers and Estuaries: Versatile enough to handle a pier session one day and an estuary mark the next, without needing a different rod.
Sheltered Rocky Shorelines: Good control and reach for general rock and shore marks where you need to fish a variety of leads and baits.

Pro Tip from Gerry’s Fishing

Pro Tip: The RTX360 is rated up to 6oz, but you do not always need to cast that much. Choose a lead that holds bottom in the tide you are fishing, and always tie on a shock leader strong enough for the weight you are casting. A common rule of thumb is around 10lb of leader per 1oz of lead. Rinse your outfit with fresh water after each trip to protect the reel and rod fittings from salt.
