Full Metal Body, Sideplate, and Rotor: The reel is built with a robust full metal body, sideplate, and rotor. This construction eliminates frame flex under heavy loads, ensuring that the gears remain in perfect alignment for smooth operation and maximum cranking power when fighting a fish.
IPX6 Sealed Body and Spool: The Slammer IV features an IPX6-rated sealed body and spool. This means it is highly resistant to water ingress, protecting the internal components, including the gearbox and drag system, from saltwater, sand, and other debris. This is a critical feature for surfcasting, boat fishing, and any scenario where the reel might be exposed to spray or splashes.
